About Ezgi
Rooted in Cyprus,

A self-taught singer-songwriter from Nicosia, Cyprus, Ezgi Akgürgen has been performing professionally since 2011. She has recorded vocals for albums by fellow Cypriot artists Cahit Kutrafalı, İnal Bilsel and Hüseyin Kırmızı, and worked as a backing vocalist for prominent artists including Fikri Karayel and Ezgi Alaş.
She is currently one of the lead singers and songwriters in the bi-communal band Island Seeds, which released its debut EP Beginnings in 2023. In 2024, as part of the Eurotoire project, she collaborated with artists from Cyprus, France, and Portugal — their collective album Turning Point was released in June 2025.
